This page logs every price we personally verify for a tracked keyboard, permanently, with the date attached. It's built from our own checks over time — not scraped from a third-party pricing API and not backfilled with estimated historical numbers we can't actually stand behind.

Why Some Boards Have Longer Histories Than Others

Each keyboard's history starts from its last known-good verified price on the stock tracker, then grows one real data point at a time as we re-check listings. That means a board we've been tracking longer will naturally show a longer, more useful trend line than one added more recently — there's no way to shortcut that honestly, so we don't try to.

What Price Trends Can (and Can't) Tell You

A downward trend on an in-stock board can suggest a vendor discount or a newer revision pushing an older one down in price. A gap in a board's timeline usually just means we hadn't re-checked it in that window, not that the price was unavailable. What this page can't do is predict future pricing — group buy pricing especially is set by the designer ahead of time and doesn't follow the same market logic as an in-stock retail listing.

Using Search and Vendor Filters Effectively

The search box matches against both keyboard name and vendor, so searching a brand like "CannonKeys" surfaces every tracked board from that vendor at once rather than requiring you to know exact model names. The vendor filter dropdown is useful for a narrower version of the same thing — pick one vendor and browse only their tracked lineup, which is a faster way to compare, say, all of KBDfans' boards against each other than scrolling the full unfiltered grid.

Reading a Price Chart with Only One Snapshot

Some boards on this page currently show just a single logged price point rather than a trend line — that's expected for keyboards added more recently to tracking, or ones we haven't had reason to re-check yet because there's been no restock or reported price change. A single-point chart isn't a data gap to be suspicious of; it just means real history hasn't accumulated yet for that specific board. Checking back periodically, or setting a price-drop alert instead of manually revisiting, is the more efficient way to catch a second data point when it happens. Boards we've tracked the longest naturally accumulate the most useful charts, so if you're specifically shopping by price trend rather than current price alone, the long-running Keychron and KBDfans entries tend to have the richest history to look at right now.
