• Look for a firmware/VIA repository update history. An actively supported board usually has recent commits or updates to its QMK/VIA definition. A repo untouched for a long stretch, paired with a vanished product page, is a reasonable sign the line has been sunset.
• Search the brand's own social channels for silence, not an announcement. Discontinuations rarely get a farewell post — the absence of any mention of a board that used to be promoted regularly is itself a data point.
• Compare "last checked" dates across sources. If a stock tracker (ours included) shows a status that's weeks old, treat it as a starting point to verify, not a live guarantee — which is exactly the mistake that prompted this post.
